Redistricting Becomes Law

Passed as Session Law 2011-404, House Bill 937 was ratified on Thursday, July 28, 2011.  Now the only question is if it will withstand Judicial Review and the lawsuits that are sure to come from Democrats.

Out here in eastern Wake County, the new maps that split us into two districts along northeast and southeast lines have been intact since the second version.  For links to the new maps and statistics, check out the main redistricting page of the NC General Assembly (here).  We have an opportunity to elect the common sense conservative representation for which long we have sought.  Below is a sample showing our new HD-35.
